A little about Annie
I am a mother of two small children who loves food and entertaining. After working for years in market research and living off of hamburger helper and ramen noodles I decided to enroll in culinary school – and thus began my love affair with food.
Most of my post culinary school career was spent in Catering Sales, Event Planning and Menu Development. After my son was born (and my daughter soon thereafter) I took a hiatus from corporate life to be with my children – but continued to cook and entertain for family and friends. This led to a drop off dinner service. Catering followed and then I found my passion for teaching others how to cook. I love recipe development, trying out different combinations to make the perfect bite in your mouth – and sharing these discoveries with others.
As a person who has struggled with health and fitness for many years, I have found ways to eat healthy without feeling like I am eating ‘health food’ – a balance of indulging food cravings while having nourishing meals. And I want to share this with others – you are never to young or old to get in the kitchen!
